WHY IS THE ORGINIZATION CALLED BUSINEIGHBOR?
A large number of our volunteers are business owners and we receive financial support from small business owners and corporations. The name BusiNeighbor represents our appreciation to business owners who care about their Neighbor.
HOW DID THIS VISION START?
BusiNeighbor INC.’s Owner to Founder is a proud U.S. Army Veteran and served in operation Desert Strom alongside Sergeant First Class Charles Meadows. When they returned home, SFC Meadows took his life. Suicide affects people from all walks of life, regardless of whether or not they have served in the military. Veteran suicide is an urgent issue that BusiNeighbor is compelled to address. BusiNeighbor has embraced a holistic approach characterized by the treatment of the whole person, taking into account mental and social factors, rather than just the symptoms of a disease.
